Canvas walls carry the sounds of the bush at night in a way that concrete never can. You will hear the hyenas calling, the hippos grunting, the hornbill’s first note at dawn. Our tents are fully ensuite, thoughtfully furnished, and designed to make the outside feel close — but to keep you comfortable while it does.

All three suite types share the same standards of comfort, the same daily housekeeping, and the same position within the reserve. The only difference is who you are sharing the experience with.

The twin configuration suits friends travelling together, parent and child, or anyone who prefers their own sleeping space. Two four-poster canopy beds with mosquito netting, white linen, and Maasai-inspired textiles hand-selected for the camp.

The tent opens at the front onto a private veranda with seating — a place to sit with your early morning coffee before the drive goes out, watching the light change over the plains.

The queen configuration takes the same generous tent space and sets it up for two — one king-size bed under a full mosquito net canopy, with warm timber furniture and Maasai textiles. The veranda faces the plains, and the bathroom has a deep soak tub alongside a shower.

Many guests choose this configuration for honeymoons and anniversaries. The Mara at night — total darkness, a sky full of stars, the sounds of the bush — has a way of making any occasion feel extraordinary.

The family suite is a private cluster of three interconnected tents — a master for the adults, a kids’ tent with twin bunk beds, and a shared lounge that doubles as living room, reading corner, and after-dark storytelling space.

The whole configuration has its own private veranda and a dedicated family game drive vehicle. The Mara is remarkable at any age. The family suite makes sure everyone experiences it properly.

How the family suite is arranged

Three tents arranged in a private arc around the shared veranda — close enough that parents can hear the kids, far enough apart that everyone sleeps well.

    Two twin bunk beds, ensuite bathroom, and a junior ranger corner with activity pack and field guides.

    Connecting canvas lounge with seating and games — opens directly onto the shared private veranda.

There is no entry-level suite at Enkoropil. All tents are ensuite, fully furnished, and looked after daily. These are the standards that come with every reservation.

Digital safe for passports, cameras, and valuables. The only things making you nervous should be outside.

Private Veranda

Every tent has its own veranda with seating — where most guests end up spending the hours between drives.

Full daily service including bed-making, bathroom refresh, and drinking water replenishment.
